Basic Bread Machine White Bread
I made the bread using the "dough" setting as I wanted to finish baking in oven. The dough was very extremely sticky when it came out. I kneaded alot of flour to make it workable but it was a very soft dough. I did substitute oil for the butter. Bread did not bake well, it did rise in the pan but did not rise in the oven. Took extra time to bake. Loaf is dense. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks to everyone for viewing.
So if I want a 3lbs loaf then should I be doubling this recipe if it is for 1 1/2lb or is this recipe for 2lbs? The description days both so I'm a little confused. The new Black and Decker 3 lbs breadmaker I got does not have any basic bread recipes with it so had to do some searching.
