  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ¾ cups Robin Hood® Oats
  • 1 ½ cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup ground flax seed
  • ¼ cup whole flax seed
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chopped dates

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Stir together brown sugar, applesauce, butter, egg and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Mix in remaining ingredients.
  • Place by rounded tablespoon (15mL) 2” (5cm) apart on prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake in preheated oven 12 to 13 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire rack.
