Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup Crisco® Canola or Vegetable Oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Grease a 12 cup muffin pan or line with paper liners.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, basil, garlic powder and salt in large bowl. Add milk, oil and egg. Stir just until combined. Gently stir in remaining ingredients. Batter will be very thick.
  • Spoon into prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Serve warm or room temperature.
