I put in 1 tbs cinnamon and no raisins and its great!!!! :)
2 tbsp raisins?
This was great but not enough raisons. Added a full cup and it was great. Also used the light crust option. Fantastic toast.
This recipe came out perfectly the first time and I have since used it several times. It's a favourite of my hubby's. I added more raisins to satisfy my family's sweet tooth. We aren't big fans of crust here, so I use the light crust option and I find that my son eats all of the bread instead of eating around the edges. I'll continue to bake using this recipe.
It is quick, easy and good! This recipe did turn out 'as is' however, I made a few changes as I found it didn't have enough raisins and cinnamon for my liking. I have increased the cinnamon to 3/4tsp. and the raisins to 3/4c. Personal preference is all ... I believe no recipe is written in stone and sometimes they need a lil' tweaking ... Enjoy!
Imagine the appetizing aroma of spicy cinnamon, the comforting warmth of freshly baked bread, the juicy sweetness of plump raisins. Imagine the smiles on the faces of your family and friends when this one comes to the table. You'll have them leaping out of bed when you serve a first class breakfast of toasted cinnamon raisin bread with fruit preserves. Spread butter or margarine on a slice and you will certainly impress your friends and neighbours with a yummy coffee time treat. No matter what time it is, it's hard to beat the delicious taste of Cinnamon Raisin Bread.
Bake a fresh loaf whenever the mood strikes or for your convenience, bake a large batch and store some away in the freezer till next time, if it lasts till then!
