Butterscotch No Bakes
These delicious one-bite butterscotch treats are so easy to make, you can leave your oven off. Pack them into the cooler for your next trip!
|1 1/2 cups||375 mL granulated sugar|
|1/2 cup||125 mL butter|
|2/3 cup||150 mL Carnation® Evaporated Milk|
|1 cup||250 mL butterscotch chips|
|3 1/2 cups||875 mL Robin Hood® Oats|
|1/2 cup||125 mL flaked coconut|
- Line baking sheet with parchment of waxed paper.
- Combine sugar, butter and milk in large saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add chips. Stir until smoothly blended. Stir in oats and coconut. Mix thoroughly. Cool mixture 5 to 10 minutes, then drop by rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill until firm.
