Butterscotch No Bakes

These delicious one-bite butterscotch treats are so easy to make, you can leave your oven off. Pack them into the cooler for your next trip!


1 1/2 cups 375 mL granulated sugar
1/2 cup 125 mL butter
2/3 cup 150 mL Carnation® Evaporated Milk
1 cup 250 mL butterscotch chips
3 1/2 cups 875 mL Robin Hood® Oats
1/2 cup 125 mL flaked coconut


  1. Line baking sheet with parchment of waxed paper.
  2. Combine sugar, butter and milk in large saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and add chips. Stir until smoothly blended. Stir in oats and coconut. Mix thoroughly. Cool mixture 5 to 10 minutes, then drop by rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill until firm.
