Crunchy Blueberry Oatmeal
Start your winter day off right with a comforting, warm bowl of homemade oatmeal. In this version, scrumptious flavour is added with the help of Smucker’s® No Sugar Added Blueberry Fruit and Concentrated White Grape Juice Spread and crunchy texture through slivered almonds and toasted coconut. So much better than plain oatmeal.
- Combine oats and water in large microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave uncovered on high for 1 minute 45 seconds. Remove.
- Stir in milk and remaining ingredients. Eat immediately.
- To toast coconut, spread about 1 cup (250mL) unsweetened coconut on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Toast at 375ºF (190ºC) for about 10 minutes, or until golden. Let cool and store in re-sealable bag at room temperature.
