|1 cup||250 mL granulated sugar|
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook on medium heat until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking, without stirring, 5 to 8 minutes, or until mixture turns into a caramel colour.
- Transfer to a heat proof bowl and cool for a few minutes until mixture thickens slightly. Drizzle caramel from a spoon into easy designs on prepared baking sheet. Let sit for 5 minutes or until set. Gently remove and decorate cupcakes.
