Caramel Drizzles | Recipes

Ingredients

1 cup 250 mL granulated sugar
3 tbsp water

Directions

  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook on medium heat until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking, without stirring, 5 to 8 minutes, or until mixture turns into a caramel colour.
  3. Transfer to a heat proof bowl and cool for a few minutes until mixture thickens slightly. Drizzle caramel from a spoon into easy designs on prepared baking sheet.  Let sit for 5 minutes or until set. Gently remove and decorate cupcakes.
