FRUITCAKE You will need 1 Package Fruitcake Mix 3/4 cup (175 mL) lukewarm water 1 egg Instructions PREHEAT oven to 300° (150°). Grease sides and bottom of 8½" x 4½" x 3" (1.5L) loaf pan. Line with foil and grease again. BLEND all ingredients (except fruit) in a large mixer bowl. BEAT 1?minutes at medium speed on electric mixer or 3 minutes by hand. Scrape bowl often. STIR IN fruit and raisins thoroughly. BAKE at 300° (150 °) for 1 ½- 2 hours. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake completely. For easy slicing, store in air-tight container in refrigerator. For ALBERTA - 3000 ft (914 m) altitude or higher, add 2 tbsp (30 mL) flour and 1 tbsp (15 mL) water. Shelf Life The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of manufacture. What exactly is a manufacturing code, and how do I read it?
