SUGAR COOKIES You will need 1 Package Sugar Cookie Mix 1 tbsp (15 mL) water 1 egg Instructions PREHEAT oven to 375° (190° ). COMBINE all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well with a wooden spoon then work dough with floured hands until smooth. ROLL dough on floured surface to 1/8" (3 mm) thickness. CUT cookies with floured cookie cutter. Using spatula, place cookies 1" (2.5 cm) apart on ungreased baking sheet. Work remaining dough together and re-roll. BAKE at 375° (190°) for 8-10 minutes, or just until starting to brown around edges. Time will vary with size of cookies. COOL 2 minutes on baking sheet then remove with spatula to wire rack. Tips Sprinkle lightly with white or coloured sugar before baking. Press lightly into dough. For softer cookies, roll dough to ¼ (5 mm) thickness.
